Game presentation

Hey guys,

My favourite project even though there was loads of would have to be Darraghs one. I liked the simplicity and the storyline. I loved how the story went and the options that were given. The mechanics of the story is very easy you can choose the name of both the alien and you. I enjoyed selecting the options even though you can’t get to far on some of the story as not fully done but otherwise it was well done. The graphics were nice and very pleasing to the eye and a great selection for this twine. I enjoyed the little animation and it felt like a proper game. I can’t wait to see what comes out from the twine if he continues. The downside to some of the games was one looked more like a package game which seems easier as you have all the materials. Other than that all the games were amazing and I really liked them.

The twine games were cool and Anthony’s racing game looked really cool and very fun to play I would have liked to play it on my phone which wasn’t working for him at the time which was sad. The graphics for this game were nice, I liked the 2d feel and the slight problem was that the cars went to fast and it was a bit hard to tell which way the other cars are going but other than that it was fun and very addictive.

Unfortunately at the moment our game is broken and we don’t know what wronged but our team leaders are looking into it to see what the problem is and are trying to figure it out as some people have left the team leaving us short a few coders.

Hope to hear back,
Signing out,
Leah

GDD Send her two.

Hey guys,

So for the GDD I'm part of the big group for the 1916 rising. As this group is so big that means we have loads of sections with different people in them.

In my section I'm part of the design team, this means we complie the assets to use and what the characters will look like.

  1. James and Chris have made the GDD.

annotated bibliography

Hey guys,

This article is about how to create a character with depth and how to make the character most relatable. It goes into the depths of do's and don'ts of a good character. They speak about the most successful part of a story that they believe to be a one of the best animation that year as it creates a relatable character and played around with the actual name of a character that you wouldn't realise until you re-watch it again. He really captures the person in the way he talks about the movie and the do's and don'ts of character design.

This article has tips and ways to make an audience connect with the story on a personal level. They explain most of these stories aren't about how magical they are but how you can use sciences mostly neurology to get the audience to have a great way to connect with each character that you have created. It gives you tips in how to keep the audience from leaving if a movie or to stop playing the game from lack of content and connections to the character. This article will be helpful for it helps to create a great story line and to keep the audience from losing focus.

This is about bow colour can effect you. This is important as if you we're to draw or make a game you will need to think about what colours to use. This talks about how colour is attached to certain words like red for danger or anger where as white stand for pure or innocent. The article talks about how to create emotional thoughts through colour and how it's important to use colour carefully when it comes to designing anything. Like if a room is yellow you could feel anxious but if it was a different colour like blue it could be more calming.

1916 raising, what my role is

Hey guys,

Sorry for the late upload. I have really been undecided on what to do I was interested in joining up with Krystof and John or joining up with the big project.

I have decided to join up with the big project and in doing so the role/ team I am best suited for is the graphics team.

This team will colaberate with a few other teams so that we can get the set up of the backgrounds and the characters done up.

I'm really looking forward to doing this as it will be quite the project in and of itself.
